The Future of Ocean City Is on the Ballot.

We are your neighbors—a group of Ocean City residents who support what makes our Ocean City the vibrant, unique, and welcoming community that the people who live, work, and play here love.

The decisions made in the coming years will shape the Boardwalk and our Ocean City for decades. We believe that future should reflect the values of the people right here, right now—not the ones looking just to profit from our town.

Smart Compromise—Recently, the city has been fiercely divided over a proposal by a developer to build a massive, exclusive hotel resort, on our Boardwalk, despite it not being allowed under current zoning. The Mayor’s and City Council leadership’s lack of direction, and lack of transparency, created division, confusion, and anger within our community. It has been a travesty. Yes, the loss of the amusement park was difficult; but it created a once in an lifetime opportunity to reimagine the Boardwalk’s north end - something new, something amazing, and something that could be achieved through a smart compromise. Instead, it became divisive, with city leadership driving a wedge between people in town, because they acted without the right intentions, without the right planning, without the right community input, and without proper transparency. It’s time to elect leadership ready to put mutual good before private gain, and who understands we move forward when we work together — not against one another. LEARN MORE

Smart Budgeting—Ocean City has a great and growing tax base, and strategic geographic positioning that give us the opportunity to be New Jersey’s prime tourist beach destination. Yet, we’re mired in debt due to fiscal mismanagement. In fact, more than 20% of our city’s revenue is projected to go toward repaying the debt racked up by current leadership. That’s more than 1 in every 5 dollars going to debt — a ratio too high, as it challenges our debt rating, and constrains our flexibility for strategic investment at a time when we need it most. We believe the buck literally needs to stop here. It’s time to elect new, fiscally responsible leadership.‍ ‍LEARN MORE

Smart Development—We welcome progress, to build and rebuild. But we need to do so with a smart plan — one that ensures livability. Today, development is spiraling out of control, with homes built to the limits and then some by variances and lack of oversight, crowding our neighborhoods, blocking our light, and creating a parking nightmare. We need more balance. We need smart growth. From businesses to homes to public spaces, we need sound city planning that lets us grow but accounts for traffic and parking, sunlight, neighborhood scale, and basic livability, so we can grow without growing out of control.‍ ‍LEARN MORE

  • Our Ocean City PAC is made up of local residents and supporters who care deeply about the community’s future. Like any PAC, our contributors will be disclosed in accordance with state law. There’s no hidden agenda—our purpose is clearly stated, and our activities are transparent.

  • It’s fair to ask that question. The difference is that this PAC exists to expand representation, not concentrate it. For a long time, a narrow set of interests have had a strong and consistent presence. We’re working to ensure the broader community is part of that conversation as well.

  • No. Growth is important for any community. What we’re advocating for is thoughtful, well-planned development that preserves what makes Ocean City special while allowing it to evolve responsibly.

  • A PAC is one of the established, lawful ways for people to organize and participate in elections. PACs have existed in Ocean City for some time so we are using the same tools that others have used for years—just to bring additional perspectives from fellow Ocean City residents—people who live, work, and own property here— into the process.

  • Our focus is forward-looking. We believe transparency is essential to public trust, and we’re advocating for clear, consistent disclosure so residents can feel confident in how decisions are made. We believe our town deserves leadership that can be independent and unfettered by conflicts of interest.

  • Skepticism is understandable, especially in today’s environment. That’s why we’re committed to being open about who we are, what we support, and how we operate. Over time, we believe our actions will demonstrate that our focus is the community.

  • It means engaging stakeholders, listening to residents, and working toward an outcome that reflects both economic realities and community values. It’s about avoiding extremes and finding practical middle ground.

  • Success means a more engaged public, more open dialogue, and decision-making that reflects a broader cross-section of Ocean City. Success is if more people feel heard and informed. Success is being able to work collaboratively to grow Ocean City while preserving the livability and character of our town. Success is when compromise becomes not about giving in or giving up, but combining the best ideas of everyone for solutions that serve everyone, not just the few.
